The third member of the Toler family to join the Golden Bear program, following in the footsteps of his father, Burl Jr., and brother, Burl III ... his father was a three-year starter at linebacker and served as team captain in 1977, while Burl III played wide receiver and finished his career in 2004 with 69 catches for 873 yards.
2005-07: Did not see any action.
2004: Redshirt.
High School: Named an all-league defensive back as a senior ... also competed in track and field.
Personal: Born Sept. 25, 1986, in Berkeley ... parents are Burl and Susan Tamayo-Toler ... his grandfather, Burl Sr., was an All-American football player at USF and later worked as an NFL official ... architecture major.
