The California Golden Bears were well represented in Pac-12 All-Academic honors with four members of the team being recognized by the conference. Junior Jackie Williams was named to the first team.
Jacqueline Williams, a psychology major with a 3.61 cumulative grade point average, was one of six players to earn first team Pac-12 All-Academic honors. Senior Daniela Holmqvist, a media studies major with a 3.47 GOA, was one of the six Pac-12 players named to the All-Academic second team. Senior Emily Childs and sophomore Nicola Roessler bother earned honorable mentions.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete
must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor. Williams, Holmqvist, Childs, and Roessler comprised four of the five players who were in the California lineup for both the Pac-12 Championships and the NCAA Regionals.
