• At the Dec. 18-19, 2009 Duel in the Pool in Manchester, England placed third in the 200 breast (2:04.28)
• Owns the United States' second-fastest time in the 200 breast (2:09.70), swam in the prelims of the 2009 World University Games in Belgrade, Serbia
• Placed 10th in the 200 breast (2:13.61) at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials
• Finished 13th in the 200 breast at the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials

• Was the national runner-up in 200 breast (1:52.34) at the 2009 NCAA championships (swam an NCAA record 1:51.96 in the prelims)

• At Rio Vista High School was a four-time high school All-American
• Held national age group records (11-12, 13-14) in the 200 breast and was .06 off the 17-18 200 breast long-course national record (2:13.55)

What do you think makes Cal unique and distinct from any other school?
The great diversity this school has. Whether it's the campus or the people - Berkeley has it all.
What was your favorite class you have taken so far and why?
My favorite class so far was Art 13 with professor Ali Dadgar. It was great because it was all up to you what kind of art you wanted to make and how you wanted to do it.
What is your favorite part of training?
Weights and the massages.
What would you say makes Cal swimming team different than any other?
We always have a lot to prove because many people count us out too early.
