Biography

U.S. OLYMPIC TRIALS SUCCESS

  • Competed in the 50- and 100-meter freestyle as well as the 100-meter butterfly in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb.

NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS

  • Earned a silver medal with USA’s 400-meter relay team at the 2013 World University Games, finishing with a time of 3:38.60
  • At the 2013 U.S. National Championships, placed 13th in the 100-meter free (55.41) and
  • Member of the U.S. Junior National Team in 2011-2012, and 2012-2013
  • Set a national age-group (17-18) record in the 800-meter freestyle relay at the 2011 Conoco Phillips National Championships

CALIFORNIA SUCCESS

  • A two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American (at-large division), earning second-team honors as a junior and third-team honors her sophomore year
  • Also a two-time first-team Pac-12 All-Academic choice and CSCAA Scholar All-American
  • Recipient of the team's Warren Hellman Scholastic Award
  • Began the 2015-16 season ranked 9th on Cal top-10 list in the 100 free (48.05) and and 10th in the 200 free (1:44.33)
  • In 2015, posted her best 100 free time at the Pac-12 Invitational just after the conference championships (48.79) and in the 200 free at the NCAA meet (1:45.08)
  • Placed 15th in the 200 free at the 2015 NCAA Championships and was 12th in the 200 free and 13th in the 100 free at the Pac-12 meet
  • At the 2014 NCAA Championships, captured a national title swimming the lead-off leg of the 800 free relay; as an individual, also finished 11th in the 200 free (1:44.47) and 14th in the 100 free (48.41)
  • In addition to the 800 free relay, was a part of the 400 free relay that placed third in 3:11.37
  • At the 2013 NCAA Championships, scored in two individual events, taking sixth in the 100 free (48.29) and ninth in the 200 free (1:44.33). Also was a member of two third-place relays – 400 free relay (3:11.58) and 800 free relay (6:57.44)
  • At the 2014 Pac-12 meet, took fifth in the 200 free (1:44.74), sixth in the 100 free (48.27) and 15th in the 50 free (22.97)
  • In addition, was part of two Pac-12-winning relays - 400 free relay and 800 free relay
  • Won the 200-yard free at the 2013 Pac-12 Championships with a time of 1:44.66
  • Also fourth in the 100 free (48.41) and 15th in the 50 free (22.75) and was a member of with winning 400 free relay (3:12.37) at the Pac-12 meet
