Cal Success:

• Wrapped up his Cal career as a key team leader in 2015. Scored four goals for the Bears and added five steals and a field block.
• Season highlight came on Nov. 8 vs. Pepperdine when he tied for team-high honors with three goals.
• Appeared in six matches as a junior in 2014, scored four goals and added five steals, four assists and one ejection earned.
• Scored 2014 goals against Navy (2), Chapman and Whittier. 
• As a sophomore in 2013 saw action in eight matches, scoring a goal versus Air Force and adding four assists, four steals, four ejections earned and three field blocks.
• As a true freshman in 2012 scored a goal and had an assist and an ejection earned against Santa Clara.

High School/National Team/Club Success:

• An attacker from Acalanes High School in Lafayette, whose heritage is steeped in Cal tradition with older brother Bryan (2008-11) and father John (1977-80) having played for the Bears.
• Helped his high school to the 2011 North Coast Section title, and earned first-team All-North Coast Section honors in 2012.
• Helped his 18-Under squad win the 2012 Junior Olympics, and was a sixth-team All-American and a member of the Lamorinda Water Polo Club.

Personal:

• Majoring in business and is in the Haas School of Business.
• Parents are John and Meg Schnugg.
• Born April 15, 1994, in Berkeley, Calif.
