Bears Get Ready For The Battle In The Bay

Cal To Send Naomi Xu, Nika Hurkacz, Mille Johanna Moerk, Laura Cilekova
BERKELEY – California women's tennis returns to action Oct. 1-4 at the Battle in the Bay at the California Tennis Club in San Francisco.
The Golden Bears will be represented by Naomi Xu, Nika Hurkacz, Mille Johanna Moerk, and Laura Cilekova. Hurkacz and Xu will compete in doubles along with Moerk and Cilekova. The tournament will feature over 20 schools from around the country.
Doubles matches will be played in the morning, and singles throughout the rest of the day.
The Bears are coming off of an impressive few weeks, with Hurkacz, Xu, and Mao Mushika earning a combined 12 wins at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, NC, and Cilekova competing in the Semifinals of the KPSF Open in San Francisco.

Doubles
Hurkacz/Xu at 10:15 a.m.
Cilekova/Moerk at 10:45 a.m.
Singles
Hurkacz at 2 p.m.
Moerk at 3 p.m.
Xu at 5 p.m.
Cilekova at 6 p.m.
