Bears Announce 2026-27 Schedule

Cal Swimming & Diving Looks to Make Waves in the ACC
The California men's and women's swimming & diving teams are slated for 13 regular-season meets during the 2026-27 season, including four College Swimming League matches, as Cal joined the CSL for its inaugural season. The women's team will have additional two meets from the men to begin January.
Both programs will open the season Oct. 2 in their first CSL match. The Bears will compete in a second CSL match Oct. 16-17 before competing in the CSL Wild Card and Championship meets Nov. 5-6 in Indianapolis.
The fall portion of Cal's schedule features meets versus UC San Diego, Saint Mary's, and a diving tri-meet with Stanford and NC State. Both men's and women's diving teams will partake in the Trojan Diving Invitational before the Bears head east for the UGA Midseason Invitational. The women's program will open spring competition against UC Davis and UCLA. Cal then will face USC and Stanford again in the spring, along with hosting the Cal Invite before heading into postseason competition.
The ACC Championships will take place in Greensboro, N.C., Feb. 16-20. The 2027 NCAA Championships will take place in Austin, Texas, the women's championship going from March 17 through March 20, and the men's to follow, March 24-27.
Cal returns several standouts for the 2026-27 season, including Yamato Okadome, who won individual titles in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events at the 2026 NCAA Championships, and Claire Weinstein, who won the 500 freestyle to break the program record and claim the Bears' first individual title in seven years. The women's program adds the top recruit in the nation in Rylee Erisman and the ninth-ranked recruit in Kelsey Zhang. The men add an impact transfer in Michel Arkhangelskiy from Florida State and a strong freshman class.
