Cal Adds Miki Aderinto To Gymnastics Coaching Staff

Former Cal Gymnasts Returns to Berkeley In Coaching Role
California women's gymnastics will add former Golden Bear gymnast Miki Aderinto to its coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2027 season, as announced by the team on Tuesday.
Aderinto will return to Berkeley following her senior season, where she was a mainstay in the uneven bars and balance beam lineups. She competed in every meet on both events, recorded four podium finishes and earned All-ACC Academic Team honors.
Aderinto, a Mesa, Arizona, native, previously coached in her hometown at Desert Devils Gymnastics, working with Levels 1 through 8 prior to her time at Cal. She also competed for Desert Devils, where she was a member of the USA Development Program National Team and helped the program win the 2021 Arizona Team State Championship. Aderinto placed third in the all-around at the 2022 JO Nationals, highlighted by a first-place finish on bars and a second-place finish on beam.
During her Cal career, Aderinto was a member of the Golden Bears' 2024 national runner-up team and earned WCGA Scholastic All-America and Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll recognition.
Aderinto earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Cal.
