California defensive back Isaiah Crosby and defensive lineman Nate Burrell have been selected to the 2026 College Football Comeback Player of the Year Pre-Season Watch List.

Crosby started in all four games he played in during the 2025 season before a season-ending injury at San Diego State. In those four games, he made 17 tackles, defended three passes and added a tackle for loss.

Burrell, who missed the entirety of the 2025 season due to injury, last saw action for the Golden Bears in 2024. In 2024, he appeared in all 13 games with eight starts and recorded a career-high 29 total tackles and 2.5 sacks. He also added a quarterback hurry and one pass breakup.

The College Football Comeback Player of the Year Pre-Season Watch List has been presented since 2018 in association with College Sports Communicators, the Associated Press and the Fiesta Bowl.
