Cal’s Togia Named All-ACC Selection

Bears’ Togia Recognized With Third-Team All-ACC Selection

The California softball team earned one All-ACC selection for the 2026 season, as junior infielder Anaya Togia was named Third-Team All-ACC, the league office announced Wednesday morning.

A transfer from Long Beach City College, Togia made an immediate impact in her first season in Berkeley under first-year head coach Steve Singleton. The Anaheim, California native emerged as one of the Bears' most consistent offensive threats, leading the team with a .345 batting average while ranking second in hits (40), home runs (7), slugging percentage (.578) and OPS (.964).

Togia also finished among the team leaders in several other offensive categories, ranking top five in runs scored (19), doubles (6), RBI (26), total bases (67) and on-base percentage (.386).

Defensively, Togia showcased her versatility across the infield, spending time at third base, second base and first base throughout the season. She committed just three errors in 202 total chances, posting a .985 fielding percentage, the second-best mark on the team among players with at least 100 chances.
