The California men's golf team continues its 2026 spring season, heading to The Goodwin in Stanford, Calif. Thursday.
 
The Golden Bears are one of 30 teams competing in the par-70, 6,742-yard course at Stanford Golf Course. Competition begins Thursday with the teams playing 18 holes each day.
 
The Bears will look to build off a strong outing at The Desimone Invitational in which Cal capped its best finish of the season in a tie for third place. In Cal's inaugural tournament, which ran March 9-10 in Daly City, freshman Trevor Cox led the Bears with a career best 9-under par 207, finishing in a tie for fifth place. Fellow teammate Sihao Cong shot a 5-over par 211, finishing in a tie for 13th place.
 
Freshman Xihuan Chang also recorded a top-20 finish, shooting a 4-under par 212, good for a tie for 18th place, his second-best finish of the spring season.
 
The Bears will tee off beginning at 8 a.m. PT Thursday.
