Bears Take Tenth-Place Tie At Stanford Intercollegiate

Stanford Takes the Title
Stanford, CA -- The California women's golf team finished tenth in the Stanford Intercollegiate, hosted by the former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The Bears concluded three rounds of play Sunday at 35-overpar.
The Stanford Cardinal won the event at 28 under par. Virginia was second, 9-under-par.
Individually, Constance Fouillet and Claudia Lara-Miravitlles led the Bears at 2-over-par and 3-over-par, respectively, over three rounds, tying for 33rd place.
Next up, the Bears will close out the fall season at Hawaii for a three-day tournament, Oct. 26-28.
