The California lacrosse team hits the road for the final time this season as it faces Charlotte and No. 1 North Carolina this weekend.

The non-conference contest against Charlotte will be played at 1 p.m. PT Friday, followed by an ACC clash with the top-ranked Tar Heels at 8 a.m. PT Sunday in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The latter will be televised on ACC Network.

The Golden Bears have lost two in a row, most recently against No. 6 Syracuse last Saturday.

Charlotte (6-7) is coming off a 17-16 conference win against South Florida at home, with Isa Torres and Kylie Gioia combining to score more than half of the 49ers' goals. The duo leads Charlotte with 39 and 33 goals, respectively.

North Carolina (12-0, 7-0 ACC) plays at East Carolina on Wednesday prior to hosting Cal on Sunday. The Tar Heels most recently topped No. 1 Boston College in a 12-11 thriller between the country's top two squads last Saturday. Attacker Chloe Humphrey's 52 goals make up more than a fourth of North Carolina's 206 total goals scored this season.
