Cal Hosts Stanford In Season Finale
Rivals Clash In Berkeley

BERKELEY – The California lacrosse team will conclude the 2025 season against rival Stanford on Thursday afternoon at California Memorial Stadium. The ACC contest and regular-season finale starts at 4 p.m. PT.
The Golden Bears (6-9, 0-8 ACC) will try to upend the Cardinal (12-4, 6-2) for their first conference victory of the season after coming up short in a 21-7 loss at No. 1 North Carolina last Sunday. Stanford meanwhile has won three straight ACC contests despite suffering a 14-9 loss to Denver at home last weekends.

Cal tied its single-game record with 20 goals scored in a win over Winthrop on March 23. It was the first time the Bears scored 20 goals since 2017.

Junior attacker Avery Hoeft set a program single-game record with nine assists in Cal's 14-7 win over Kent State on March 10.

Five Bears – Willow Cyr, Alina Hsu, Ashleigh Masterson, Dahlen Vilbrandt and Isabella Wenstrand – have all scored their first career goals this season.
