Bears Travel East To Continue Conference Play

Cal Seeks First ACC Win Against Pitt; Nonconference Game At Kent State To Follow

It is wheels up for the California lacrosse team as it is on the road this weekend and Monday. Saturday will be an ACC game against the Pittsburgh Panthers followed by a nonconference contest against the Kent State Golden Flashes.

California will play both schools for the first time, with both Cal and Pitt seeking their first ACC win of the season.

The Bears are coming off of a tough 20-9 loss against the Virginia Cavaliers last Saturday. Cal goals were put up by Jane Middleton, Kennedy Mason, and Emily Moes. Mason leads the Bears with 14 goals while Moes is second with 10.

Both Pitt and Kent State are coming off of wins. Sydney Naylor and Jenna Hendrickson are the top scorers for the Panthers, at 19 and 14 goals, respectively.

QUICK HITS

  • Cal has 16 regular-season games scheduled in 2025 with seven at home and nine on the road, while the team's nine ACC games will include four on the road and five in Berkeley.
