Bears Rout Radford, Fall At Virginia Tech
Five different Golden Bears scored in their highest-scoring game of 2025 as Cal routed Radford 6-1 on Oct. 22 in Radford, Virginia. Midfielder
Cam Wilkerson got the game-winning goal and forward
Luka Lukic scored twice in Cal's second-to-last road game of the regular season. The six goals are the most the Bears have scored in a game this year, surpassing their total in a 3-2 win at Saint Mary's in the season opener. Along with Wilkerson and Lukic, Cal's goal scorers against the Highlanders were sophomore forward
Malcolm Zalayet, freshman winger
Callen Lewis and sophomore midfielder
Junhwan Park, with the latter tallying his first goal as a Bear. Goalkeeper
Connor Lambe did not record a save in the first half for the Bears, while
Marco Brougher made three saves in the final 45 minutes.

Last Sunday, Cal lost at Virginia Tech 3-2 in Blacksburg, Virginia, with
Malcolm Zalayet and
Junhwan Park scoring for the Bears and Declan Quill netting a hat trick for the Hokies.

Last Time Vs. Stanford: Cal Beats No. 22 Cardinal 1-0
Defender
Kevin Carmichael scored the game-winning goal and
Marco Brougher made four saves to power Cal to a 1-0 victory over 22nd-ranked Stanford in the Big Clasico and regular-season finale on Nov. 1, 2024, on The Farm. A corner kick led to the 81st-minute goal, with
Alfredo Ortiz's corner ending up with Carmichael on the far side of the box. The Cal co-captain passed the ball to
Kieran Bracken Serra, and the freshman played a short pass back to Carmichael, who settled the ball and fired from the top of the box to beat goalkeeper Rowan Schnebly for the central defender's first goal of the season. Brougher faced just one Stanford shot the rest of the way, with the goalkeeper making a clutch save on Will Reilly's 22-yard effort at 88:37 to preserve the shutout.
