BERKELEY – The California field hockey team (8-7, 3-5 ACC) closed the regular season with a 3-1 victory against Stanford (7-9, 2-6 ACC) on Thursday night at Underhill Field.
 
The Golden Bears closed the 2025 campaign with a 6-2 record on their home turf after 
Liz Klompmaker found the back of the net twice, while 
Holly Pears added one goal in the contest.
 
Stanford struck first after earning its lone goal of the night halfway through the second quarter. Cal evened the score after 
Agustina Daud perfectly set up Pears for the equalizer late in the first half.
 
Klompmaker put the Bears ahead for the remainder of the game after securing two goals in the fourth quarter to help give Cal the 3-1 win on senior day. Klompmaker clinched her third game of the season with at least two goals.
