Cal Gets Set To Face Stanford This Week
BERKELEY -Â Happy to be back home in the friendly confines of Berkeley, the California field hockey team seeks to snap a three-match losing streak this week against its America East West Division foes. The Golden Bears (1-4, 0-3) host UC Davis and No. 20 Stanford before heading to Stanford to close out the Bay Area trio of contests.Â
Cal faces UC Davis on Saturday, April 3, at 6 p.m., and Stanford on Tuesday, April 6, at 6 p.m. both from Underhill Field before heading to Stanford on Sunday, April 11, at 6 p.m. The home match against the Cardinal will count as a non-conference match. Â Â Â
Â
"With this homestand featuring three games, two as America East Conference games, we couldn't ask for a better situation right now to buckle in and get some work done," said the Donna Fong Director of Field Hockey
Shellie Onstead. "We just need to take things one game at a time."Â
