CAL CONTINUES FIVE-GAME ROAD TRIP SUNDAY AT WINTHROP
— Cal continues its current five-game road trip at Winthrop this Sunday (Noon ET/9 am PT) in the first-ever meeting between the teams
— After playing at Winthrop, the Golden Bears will return to Berkeley but go back out on the road for three more games at San Diego State (Friday, February 28, 5 pm PT), Arizona State (Friday, March 6, 1 pm PT/Noon PT) and No. 13/12 USC (Sunday, March 8, Noon PT) to wrap up the trip
— The Golden Bears started their current five-game road trip with an 11-10 win at Mercer on Friday
WILD WIN OVER MERCER
— Cal picked up its first win of the season in wild fashion at Mercer with an 11-10 victory
— A trio of Cal players (
Quinnlyn Mason, Suise Ropp,
Nikki Zaccaro) had three goals each in the win with Ropp picking up a hat trick for the second time in her career against Mercer

Marisa Kuberra each also had a goal for Cal

Catherine Roxas had a team-high two assists while Mason and Zaccaro picked up one each
— Cal scored the first five goals of the game including three in just over the opening five minutes and never trailed but had to force a turnover with on Mercer's final possession with 0:21 remaining to secure the victory

EAST COAST WIN STREAK
— Cal extended its win streak in games played in the Eastern Time Zone to four with the win at Mercer
— The streak began with a 12-7 victory over Robert Morris on March 5, 2018, and continued on March 1 and 3 of the 2019 campaign with a two-game East Coast road sweep at George Washington (15-8) and Mount St. Mary's (12-9)
