Cal Athletics Announces Virtual Gameday Page

Fans Can Virtually Experience Some Of Their Favorite Gameday Traditions This Year
BERKELEY – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fans are not allowed at California Memorial Stadium during football games this year. To ensure fans can still experience many of the traditions they are used to on a home gameday, Cal Athletics has created a virtual gameday page. Fans will have the ability to watch a stream and virtually experience some of their favorite game day traditions.
Cal's on-field emcee, Nasser Al Rayess, will be hosting a live stream during home games this fall. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in numerous in-game contests, including a virtual Bear Growl, virtual T-shirt toss and many more.
You won't miss any of the action as the page will also provide live in-game stats as well as access to Cal Athletics and Cal Football social channels in one easy-to-navigate page. Fans will also be featured on the page's social wall. If fans use the hashtag #GoBears on their social media posts, they have the chance to be showcased as they watch their Bears from around the world.
Additionally, it wouldn't be a Cal home game without the Cal Band. The band will perform a virtual halftime show on the gameday page.
There will also be downloadable games for the Bear cubs in your family as part of the Sutter Health Virtual Blue & Gold Zone. There will also be the opportunity to showcase your fandom by entering the Dress Your Pet promotion courtesy of AvoDerm and Nylabone.
