BERKELEY - The California football team will return home on Saturday after a upset victory over No. 14/12 Washington on the road this past weekend. The Bears moved to 2-0 and now must deal with the North Texas Mean Green at California Memorial Stadium. The game will kickoff at 1:15 p.m. PT and be broadcast on Pac-12 Bay Area.

TOPPLING RANKED OPPONENTS
- Cal toppled No. 14/12 Washington, 20-19, in their Pac-12 opener on Saturday.
- It was the fourth consecutive season that Cal defeated a top 15 opponent; Cal also defeated No. 13 Washington in 2018, No. 8 Washington State in 2017 and No. 11 Texas in 2016.
- The Bears have won two of their past three games against ranked opponents.

GENERATING EXPLOSIVE PLAYS ON OFFENSE
- Last season, Cal generated five or more explosive plays of 20+ yards in three of the team's 13 games, the Golden Bears have done that in each of their first two games of the 2019 season.

Christopher Brown Jr. carried the offensive load in the season opener vs. UC Davis as he had 36 carries for 197 yards and a touchdown.

Jahvid Best, who had 111 yards in the 2008 season opener against Michigan State.

CRAWFORD EMERGES AMONGST BALANCED RECEIVING CORPS

Kekoa Crawford debuted with a notable performace against UC Davis. He caught three passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns. He added a team-best 48 yards receiving including a crucial 27-yard reception to set up the game-winning field goal.
- Crawford is tied for 21st in the NCAA and third in the Pac-12 with two receiving touchdowns.
- Cal spread the ball around with seven wide receivers and three tight ends seeing significant time. Crawford was one of 10 receivers to catch a pass in the opener, with two more receiving targets.
