BERKELEY - California completes its Southern California road trip against Brown (at SDSU) on Wednesday, March 29, and at No. 9 USC on Sunday, April 2.

The Golden Bears began the SoCal trip with a 14-13 overtime loss to San Diego State last Sunday. It was the Bears' third one-goal loss this season. Against the Aztecs, the Bears overcame a five-goal deficit to take a 13-11 lead in the final minutes of regulation. Elizabeth Pellechi tallied five points on four goals and an assist.

USC currently holds a three-game winning streak over the Bears after Cal won the first-ever meeting in 2013. The Trojans have outscored the Bears, 33-7, in the last two meetings. Cal is also looking for its first win in the L.A. Coliseum.

Jena Fritts is Cal's leading scorer with 35 points on 28 goals and seven assists. Fritts, who paced the Bears in points and assists a year ago, has scored a career-best six goals on two separate occasions, at Butler on Feb. 24 and against William & Mary. That total tied for second best in school single-game history.

Jenny Wilkens has 12 career double-digit save performances and six thus far in 2017 after stopping 10 SDSU shots last Sunday. Wilkens was named MPSF Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in her career, as well as IWLCA Fast Break Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts against UConn on March 14 and in Cal's 18-11 win over Marquette on March 16.

Cal's assist leader with nine helpers thus far in 2017, true freshman Susie Ropp is also second on team in points with 24. She has collected six points in a game twice this year and notched a career-best five goals against William & Mary on March 11. She scored Cal's first two goals at SDSU last Sunday.
