BERKELEY --Â For the first time since Cal field hockey joined the America East conference, the Golden Bears will head east for a pair of regular-season league matchups. Cal will take on East Division opponents Vermont and Maine in Orono, Maine at the UMained Field Hockey Complex beginning Saturday.
The weekend kicks off with a contest against the Catamounts on Saturday at 8 a.m. PT and follows with the Cal vs. Maine matchup on Sunday at the same time. Live stats for both games will be available at GoBlackBears.com, and Maine will also stream its match against Cal on Sunday.

• Though Cal last faced Maine in the regular season in 2013, the Golden Bears also took on the Black Bears in 2015, in their inaugural game at the America East conference tournament. Maine won 2-1 in overtime.

• Cummings' 11 goals are a team-high, and Wagg has eight goals.
• Ella Mosky and Riedl have nine assists each.
• Seven different Black Bears have notched four or more assists this season.
• Emma Cochran has made 13 appearances in goal with seven starts for 527 minutes. She has 24 saves and a 1.73 goals against average.
• Emily Corbett has seen 385 minutes in the cage in 11 appearances and six starts. She has a 2.0 goals against average and 11 goals allowed.
