Cal-Washington Postgame Notes

With today's 31-7 Washington victory over California, the Huskies have now won the last six consecutive meetings in the series.

Jared Goff ended the game 35-for-51 for 304 yards. The last time Goff did not throw a touchdown pass in a game was last year at Colorado. Goff posted his ninth career 300-yard passing game, which ranks second in school history, while his 12th 250-yard passing performance ranks tied for fourth all-time with Dave Barr. Now with 5,687 career passing yards, Goff passed Aaron Rodgers for ninth all-time in that category. Kevin Riley is eighth with 6,182 passing yards.

Bryce Treggs has now caught a reception in 26 of the last 27 games that he has played in and his last 20 contests in a row. Treggs was Cal's leading receiver on the day with seven receptions for 48 yards.

Daniel Lasco picked up his fourth rushing touchdown of the season – seventh of his career – in the third quarter for Cal's only touchdown of the day. Lasco paced Cal in rushing with 17 carries for 71 yards and a touchdown. He also garnered six catches for 35 yards.

Cal's lone scoring drive was 6:54 in length, the longest scoring drive of the season. The previous longest was 6:18 on the initial scoring drive of the season at Northwestern. The 18-play drive tied the longest number of plays in a scoring drive since that same initial scoring drive at Northwestern.

Jake Kearney notched a personal-best nine tackles, and tied for the team lead with Hardy Nickerson.

Griffin Piatt picked up his first career sack in the third quarter.

Cameron Walker blocked a field goal in the third quarter. The last time Cal blocked a field goal was in 2012 when Nick Forbes blocked one against Arizona State. Walker also tied his career high with two pass breakups.

Cole Leininger booted a season-best 59-yard punt in the second quarter.

Cal gave up a season-high three turnovers and Washington scored 17 points off of turnovers.
