Field Hockey loses to Harvard 2-1

Cal lost to Harvard Thursday evening at Jordan Field as the Crimson's sophomore forward Philomena Gambale scorched the Bear's defense with two unassisted goals.
Bonnie Chang scored the lone goal for Cal at 12:13 of the second period, notching her first career goal as a Bear.
For the second game in a row, Cal was limited to just two shots on goal. Amber Stockstill attempted the only other shot besides the goal scored by Chang.
The Bears must regroup and prepare to face Rhode Island Friday at 7 p.m. EST at Harvard. From there, Cal will make a short trek to Boston to take on Boston University on Sunday.
