  • Deltha O'Neal's interception return for a TD and Damian Marzett's TD on another pick were the third and fourth time in the first five games Cal's defense has produced a touchdown. O'Neal also had an interception return for a 75-yard TD vs. Rutgers and Jacob Waasdorp had a 25-yard fumble recovery for a TD at Washington State

  • standout defensive tackle Jerry DeLoach made the trip, but played sparingly as his neck/shoulder injury continued to bother him

  • the Cal defense had 15 tackles for loss, including six sacks.
