California Athletics Hall of Fame
A member of two U.S. Olympics teams, Elsie Windes earned a gold medal in 2012 and a silver medal in 2008. She was a three-time All-American at Cal, including becoming Cal’s first true freshman to earn the honor. Also a four-time All-MPSF selection, Elsie ranks 10th all-time at Cal in scoring and led the Bears in scoring during two of her seasons with the Bears. In the classroom, she was a two-time MPSF All-Academic choice. Following her time at Cal, she won a gold medal with the U.S. team at the 2007 and 2009 World Championships and at the Pan American Games in 2007 and ’11.
