Lauren Crandall, a 2008 Olympian, is in her first season as assistant coach after Shellie Onstead added her to the coaching staff last July. Onstead and Crandall have worked together on the national scene when Onstead was an assistant coach with the U.S. National team. Crandall recently earned her 100th cap.

Crandall was joined by fellow assistant coach Carrie Lingo on the 2007 Pan Am Games team, which claimed the silver medal. She claimed two NCAA titles and three All-America honors at Wake Forest (2003-07). She helped the Demon Deacons earned four consecutive top three national rankings during her tenure there.

Graduating from Wake Forest in 2007 with a degree in communication, Crandall was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society.

Crandall first experienced Berkeley in 2006, when she and her Demon Deacons defeated Cal, 5-1.
