Personal/Previous: The young Bear boasts a career-high ITF junior ranking of 47…ranked fourth in singles and third in doubles in Canada’s U18 junior girls’ rankings…has played in all four junior Grand Slams…played in the singles main draw in the 2023 Australian Open Junior Championships, falling in the first round…competed in singles qualifying in the US Open and French Open Junior tournaments in 2023…partnered with her older sister, Annabelle Xu, to reach the second round of the Wimbledon Junior Championships in 2022…won a gold medal representing Quebec at the 2022 Canada Games…represented Canada at the BJK Cup in 2021…her sister, Annabelle, is a junior on the Virginia women’s tennis team.
