Biography

Spring 2020: Notched an 11-9 doubles record and a 5-3 singles record for 2019-20…teamed with Katerina Stloukalova to defeat Virginia’s Vivian Glozman and Rosie Johanson - who were ranked 41st in the Oracle ITA poll from March 3 - 6-4, and then partnered with Julia Rosenqvist to beat San Diego State’s Julia Jordan and Tamara Arnold, 7-5, as well as UCLA’s Abbey Forbes and Taylor Johnson, 6-2.

Fall 2019: Posted an 8-3 doubles record and a 5-2 singles record in the first half of the year…in doubles, she paired with Julia Rosenqvist to win four matches and capture the top-flight doubles title in the Cal Fall Invitational, beating teammates Anna Bright and Erin Richardson, 8-7(5), in the final…Dunk went 2-1 in Gold flight singles in the Cal Fall Invitational, as she reached the quarterfinals…Dunk and Bright earned an Oracle ITA preseason doubles ranking of No. 13…the duo competed in the ITA All-American Championships, beating the 17th-ranked Alexa Bortles and Sabina Machalova of Ole Miss, 8-6, in the opening round of 32, before falling to Central Florida's seventh-ranked and fifth-seeded Ksenia Kuznetsova and Valeriya Zeleva, 8-3, in the round of 16…Dunk won twice in singles in the fall-ending ASU Thunderbird Invitational and teamed against with Rosenqvist in the Sun Devils’ tournament, with the Bears going 2-1 in doubles.

Spring 2019: Wound up the season with a 21-14 doubles record and 7-7 singles mark…Dunk and Anna Bright posted a 17-10 doubles record…Dunk and Bright bested Pepperdine’s 86th-ranked Ashley Lahey and Daria Kuczer, 6-1, in the NCAA round of 32 and in the regular season upset UCLA’s 14th-ranked Elysia Bolton and Jada Hart, 6-2...the duo also beat Long Beach State’s Lalita Devarakonda and Natalia Munoz, 6-2, in Cal’s 4-2 win over the 49ers in the NCAA team tournament’s round of 64…Dunk earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.

Fall 2018: Posted a 6-4 singles record and a 10-6 doubles mark in the fall…teamed with Anna Bright for the first time to form a strong doubles team…in their first tournament together in October, the duo reached the final of the ITA Northwest Regional Championships…in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships in November, the two reached the doubles quarterfinals…Dunk and Bright ended the fall with a national ranking of 17th…in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships in November, the two reached the doubles quarterfinals, which included wins over South Carolina’s Megan Davies and Rachel Rohrabacher (ranked 23rd in November), 6-3, 6-1, in the round of 32 and over Maria Kononova and Tamuna Kutubidze (ranked 21st in November), 7-5, 6-3, in the round of 16…in singles, Dunk defeated San Francisco’s Hanna Borjeson – who was ranked 98th in November – 6-2, 6-3, in the opening round of regionals, with Dunk advancing to the round of 64…Dunk also reached the singles quarterfinals of the Saint Mary’s Fall Invitational.

Spring 2018: Opened the spring at 4-2 in singles and 4-2 in doubles…ended her first season in Berkeley with an 18-13 singles record and 11-14 doubles record…paired with Maria Smith to beat USC’s Constance Branstine and Madison Westby, 6-3, to clinch the doubles point in an eventual 7-0 rout of the Trojans on March 9…defeated San Diego State’s Nnena Nadozie, 3-6, 6-2, 6-0, to clinch a 5-2 win over the Aztecs on Feb. 1…beat UC Santa Barbara’s Stephanie Yamada, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, to clinch a 5-2 victory against the Gauchos on Feb. 18.

Fall 2017: Posted a 9-5 singles record that included winning the B final – beating Eastern Washington's Rylee Braeden, 6-2, 6-3 – at the Saint Mary’s Fall Invitational…was 6-7 in doubles, including 5-2 with Maria Smith…the two Bears reached the round of 16 at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships and semifinals at the Cal Fall Invitational.

Personal/Previous:
 Majoring in environmental economics and policy...the Corona Del Mar High School product was named the Orange County Register’s Co-Player of the Year in 2016 and to the OCR’s 2016 all-county first team…in the fall of 2016, Dunk went 40-3 and won the 2016 Pacific Coast League singles title…won the league doubles championship in 2015…born on April 7, 1999…parents are Marisol and Chris…sibling Max…former pro player Chris Dunk (1977-80) was a two-time All-American at Cal and was inducted into the California Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.
