Noah Yanchulis

Noah Yanchulis is in his second year as an assistant with the California men's and women's swimming & diving programs. Yanchulis comes to Berkeley after previously working at Oklahoma Christian where he served as the program's associate head coach.

While at Oklahoma Christina he worked tirelessly with head coach Josh Davis to build the program into a NCAA Division II power, one that placed 10th nationally in 2023 and produced a national champion (J.T. Amrein in the 200-yard breaststroke) during the 2021-22 season.

Yanchulis spent the 2018-19 season as the first graduate assistant in the brief history of OC's swimming programs and was promoted after finishing work on his master's degree in only one year. In his first season with the program, the Eagles had eight swimmers earn All-Rockey Mountain Athletic Conference honors, including Freshman of the Year accolades to swimmer Bergen Davis. The previous season, no OC swimmers earned All-RMAC honors.

Bergen was the first of two Freshman of the Year winners under Yanchulis' watch. Also earning the award was Victor Rosado in 2022. That same season, fellow freshman JT Amrein was national champion in the 200 yard breast stroke. In Yanchuls' final two seasons with Oklahoma Christian, the Eagles had 14 individuals earn First Team All-American honors.

As an undergraduate, Yanchulis was a two-time Big East Conference most outstanding swimmer while competing collegiately at Seton Hall from 2014-2018. While there, he won 10 Big East titles, including three each in the 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle. He established himself as arguably the best swimmer in Seton Hall history.

He was named as the Big East's top swimmer after his sophomore and junior seasons, and as a senior he won three league titles to help the Pirates take the team championship for the second straight year. At the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America National Invitational Championship in 2018, Yanchulis won the B final in the 200 freestyle and was seventh in the A final in the 100 freestyle.

Yanchulis double majored at Seton Hall earning a bachelor's in marketing and information technology. He earned his master's in business administration with a finance concentration from Oklahoma Christian.
