The best part about being on Cal Crew is: The lessons you learn daily about strength, toughness, faith, will power and the importance of teamwork. It is true that as an intensely physical sport, it trains our bodies for a certain goal and to be agents of our own will, yet at the same time, it trains our spirit. With Cal, crew is not just a sport, but a way of life that we are better for having been a part of.
What sets Cal apart?: In my year and a half here I have come to realize that Cal stands for something that sets it apart. When I see the blue and gold, I know it means dedication, hard work and a fierceness and efficiency about getting the job done, whether it be in a lab or at practice. Cal is for achievers and go-getters.
