Brittany McClure Headshot

Brittany McClure

Brittany McClure heads into her first season with the Bears in 2026. She was hired as an assistant coach in July of 2025.

McClure spent the past five years at Air Force Academy, where she coached all four events while serving as the lead coach and choreographer for the floor exercise. Additionally, McClure led recruiting efforts for the Falcons.

McClure helped Air Force reach new heights in her time in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as the team broke both the school's vault and team score records last season. In 2024, her floor rotation achieved the highest National Qualifying Score (NQS) in program history, jumping 10 spots nationally from the previous year. This feat helped the Falcons set a new team score NQS as well.

Under McClure's watch, Air Force produced one of its most successful gymnasts in program history – Maggie Slife. Her accolades include 2025 Mountain West Gymnast of the Year, 2025 College Gym News Most Valuable Gymnast, 2024 USAG floor national champion, and 2024 Mountain West Freshman of the Year. In just two years, Slife earned four Mountain West individual titles, three USAG All-America honors, seven All-Mountain-West honors, and 31 weekly conference honors. She was the first Falcon in five years to qualify for two straight NCAA Regionals as an individual and placed second on floor in 2024.

In McClure's five years in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Falcons tallied 34 USAG All-America honors, 30 all-conference accolades, five individual conference event titles, and four major conference awards. Several team and individual top-ten program marks were notched as well.

Prior to her tenure at Air Force, McClure had stints at Ursinus College (2018-19) in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, Airborne Gymnastics (2016-18) in Santa Clara, and Ball State (2015-16) in Muncie, Indiana, where her college coaching career began.

McClure carried out her competitive collegiate career at Texas Woman's University from 2009-2014. She earned Midwest first-team all-conference honors in floor in 2014 and was a two-time Academic All-American. She helped her team to a conference championship in 2010 and was a five-time runner up at the USAG Nationals.

McClure graduated from TWU with a Masters of Business Administration degree in 2015 as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business in 2013.

McClure is headed to the Bay Area with her husband, Brett, and their daughter, Mia Rae.
