Biography
TULANE (2020-22)
2022: Competed in the top pair in every tournament during her junior season... Recorded a record of 21-14 with partner Maddie Speicher... Was ranked as a Top Five Pair by the ACVA through the first three weeks of the season... Recorded a ranked win over No. 5 LSU and No. 17 Georgia State (Feb. 26)... Swept No. 13 Georgia State in Gulf Shores (Mar. 19)... Defeated No. 19 South Carolina in the opening round of the CCSA Conference tournament (Apr. 28)... Named to the CCSA All-Tournament Team.
2021: Finished her sophomore season in New Orleans with an 18-19 overall record, going 11-16 on court one and 7-3 on court two…Earned wins over three ranked opponents, in No. 11 Grand Canyon, No. 18 Georgia State and No. 20 FGCU…Swept her opponent on 15 occasions.
2020: Went 5-3 from the No. 2 position in her first season in New Orleans before going 3-0 from the No. 1 spot to finish the year 8-3 alongside partner Tarin Mergener…Earned a spot on the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Preseason Watch List…Swept her opponent in all eight wins to start her Green Wave career…Helped Tulane to wins over North Alabama, UAB (RV), Spring Hill College, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Louisiana-Monroe, Texas A&M Kingsville and New Orleans.
Before Tulane: Peters comes to Tulane from San Mateo, California, where she played club for Santa Cruz Beach Volleyball. In the summer of 2018, she won the Fonoimoana's Queen of Beach tournament in Hermosa Beach. The incoming Green Wave freshman also earned her AAA rating in the Santa Cruz Open (2018), earned a third-place finish at AAU Junior Beach Volleyball Championships (2017) and was selected to the A2 Junior Beach National Team in 2017. On the indoor side, Peters was a four-year letterwinner as an outside hitter at Notre Dame Belmont High School and was named the Tigers' MVP in 2017 and 2018.
Personal: Peters intends to major in business or communications at Tulane, with hopes of playing beach volleyball professionally upon graduation.
