College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District... MPSF All-Academic... ACC Academic Honor Roll.

As a Freshman (2024): Posted a score of 13.350 on parallel bars in a dual meet at Stanford… at the Cal Benefit Cup, scored 13.000 on horizontal bar... CGA Second-Team Academic All-American.

PREVIOUS: Made the Region 5 Junior Elite team each year from 2019-23... appeared at the Men's Development Program National Championships each year from 2021-23... competed in the 2023 Core Hydration Classic... won Region 5 titles in the all-around, parallel bars and horizontal bar in 2023... 2022 Illinois State champion (all-around and horizontal bar)... 2021 State all-around champion... also played baseball and golf for Judah Christian High School, earning 2022 All-Area Honorable Mention honors in the former and helping his squad to Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Sectionals in 2021 and 2022... National Honors Society member.

PERSONAL: Plans to study sociology at Cal with the goal of going into the coaching field... son of Shig and Jodi Yasunaga... father wrestled at Augustana College and Illinois College.
