Tyrease Terrell is in his first season as a graduate assistant for the Cal men's basketball program in 2025-26.

Terrell played four seasons for Nicholls (2019-23) under head coach Austin Claunch and later joined Claunch's UTSA support staff as a graduate assistant in 2024-25. He played one graduate season in 2023-24 at NCAA Division II Hawaii Pacific.

Terrell was a member Nicholls teams that earned back-to-back Southland Conference regular season championships in 2020-21 and 2021-22. He played 61 total games for the Colonels and across his collegiate career shot 36.1% from 3-point range.

Originally from Slidell, Louisiana, he was a two-time All-Metro Louisiana selection and named to the 6-5A All-District Team while playing his prep basketball at Northshore High School.
