Amy Jensen Bio
Amy Jensen captured a record three consecutive NCAA doubles championships from 1998-2000, winning the first two with Amanda Augustus and taking the third with Claire Curran. Jensen also played in the NCAA singles draw on two occasions. Hall of Famers Jensen and Augustus finished their career as a tandem with a 56-13 record and earned the title of Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Century, while Jensen also claimed a spot on the Pac-12 All-Century Team. A five-time All-American as a collegian, Jensen also played in the U.S. Open three times and in the Australian Open. Jensen returned to Cal on Jan Brogan’s staff from 2003-06 and was later the head coach at Mills College and at Denver. The Brisbane, Australia, native is currently the head coach at UC Santa Cruz and also a color commentator for the Pac-12 Networks.
