Anne Walker helped the Bears earn their first NCAA regional appearance in 2000 and the program’s first NCAA Championship appearance in 2001. She earned All-Pac-10 recognition three times, including second-team honors as a senior, and won two tournaments during her career – the BYU Invitational in the fall of 1998 and the 2002 Bay Area Classic. A three-time NGCA All-American Scholar-Athlete and a three-time first-team Pac-10 All-Academic selection, Walker served a team captain for three seasons. In 2002, she received the Pac-10 Medal as Cal’s top senior female student-athlete. Following graduation, Walker served as an assistant coach at Cal from 2003-08, helping the Bears to three top-five finishes, currently assiocaite head coach at Cal.
