2000-01: In the fall, advanced in doubles to the final of the ITA Regional championships with senior Adrian Barnes by defeating Stanford's No. 6 seeded tandem of Ali Ansari and Scotty Scott 8-4 before losing to No. 3 seed Scott Lipsky and David Martin of Stanford 8-4 … ended the fall ranked No. 36 with Barnes by the ITA … played in three singles contests, going 2-1 with wins at the Fresno State Invitational over Nick Carless of Cal Poly and Buck Mink of Oregon …

1999-2000: Teamed with junior Erik Dmytruk to form the No. 1 doubles team for the Bears…earned their first-ever bid to the NCAA doubles championship … ended the year 26-12 with a quarterfinal loss in the NCAA Tournament to Mississippi's Chadha and Shortall 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 … doubled their 13 wins together from the previous season … after going 12-8 at the No. 1 spot for the Bears, the duo were ranked No. 18 at the end of the season … pulled off big wins over UCLA's Jong-Min Lee and Brandon Kramer, as well as Oregon's Guillermo Carter and Leslie Eisinga … amassed a 12-17 record in singles competition at the No. 3-6 spots for the Bears … won his first four dual matches of the year, defeating players from St. Mary's, Santa Clara, Georgia Tech and Oregon … advanced to the second round of the ITA Regional championships before falling to Ryan Haviland of Stanford, 6-2, 6-3.

1998-99: Finished the season with 11 overall wins … was 5-3 in tournament action…advanced to the semifinals of the San Diego Intercollegiates before losing to Colorado's Doug Papadia ... key dual match victories included wins over Washington's Andy Posovac and Arizona's Caleb Marquardt ... started the dual match season with a 5-4 record ... teamed with Eric Dmytruk to form the Bears No. 2 doubles tandem ... the duo was 13-11 in doubles action, including a 9-7 record at No. 2 ... the pair played well against USC duos, defeating Kukal and Park, 9-7, and downing Rainey and Park, 8-4 ... also defeated Pac-10 doubles champions Grinda and Lee of UCLA, 8-6, in Los Angeles.

1997-98: A key contributor for Cal as a freshman ... posted an 11-6 overall record (5-1 dual) in his first year of collegiate competition ... got off to a good start at the All-American tournament, winning three pre-qualification matches ... fell in the second round of the Continental Air Cup but rebounded to reach the semifinals of the consolation bracket, where he was defeated by teammate David Sutton ... appeared in six dual matches for the Bears on the year, mostly in the No. 6 spot, where he was a perfect 5-0 ... saw limited doubles action, but did team with fellow freshman Adrian Barnes to record a 6-8 overall mark (5-7 dual) ... the tandem's key dual victories included an 8-6 win over Dani and Was of Arizona State as well as an 8-6 win over Allegre and Cook of UCLA ... also knocked off UCLA's Newman and Sands, 6-4, 7-6, to reach the Flight II quarterfinals at the Pac-10 championships.
