Cal Men's Tennis Beats San Jose State, 4-3

BERKELEY, Calif. - The University of California men's tennis team won five-of-six singles matches en route to a 6-1 victory over Bay-Area rival San Jose State Tuesday afternoon in Berkeley Calif.

The Bears also swept the three doubles points in improving their record to 6-4 on the season.

The only singles match the Bears dropped was at the No. 2 spot, where Alex Sueur had to retire in the second set due to injury. The Bears won the other singles matches in straight sets.

Cal next plays at Fresno State Mar. 22nd.
