Cal Men's Tennis Signs Two Top Juniors to Letters of Intent
The University of California men's tennis team has signed Ben Miles and Chris Lewis, two of west coast tennis' top juniors, to letters of intent during the early signing period, it was announced by Cal head coach Peter Wright. Both will come to Cal next fall as freshmen.
Miles, currently a senior at the Menlo School in Menlo Park, hails form Atherton and is considered the No. 1 player in Northern California. Most recently, Miles reached the finals of the USTA national boys indoor championship.
The Bears other recruit, Chris Lewis of Seattle, Wash., is ranked as the No. 1 junior in the Pacific Northwest. A senior at the Bush School in Seattle, Lewis also ranks among the top 30 juniors in the United States.
