Assistant Coach Cordell Ho Promoted
The University of California announced today the promotion of Cordell Ho to the position of Associate Head Men's Tennis Coach. Ho has served the last four years as an assistant coach for the Cal team. In addition to his coaching duties, Ho's primary responsibilities include developing a fitness, nutrition and conditioning program, and teaching the fundamentals of sports psychology.
Prior to arriving at California Ho held several head pro and tournament director appointments on the East Coast, as well as teaching positions at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Washington.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Ho played collegiate tennis at the University of Oregon, before earning both a B.A ('72) and M.A. ('75) at Cal.
