A former Cal All-American, Djukic is in her first season on the Golden Bears' coaching staff.
In 2006, the product of Serbia & Montenegro stroked the varsity 8 that won the Pac-10 championship and took second at the NCAA Championships. Djukic was in the varsity 8 that won the NCAA and Pac-10 titles in 2005, when she was named second-team All-American, first-team All-Region and All-Pac-10. Djukic also won the Pac-10 championship in the varsity 8 as a freshman in 2004.
Djukic has competed for Serbia's national team program, placing fifth in the single at the 2002 Junior World Championships in Trakai, Lithuania, and taking 16th in the single at the 2001 Junior World Championships in Duisburg, Germany. She is a two-time junior national champion in the single and a senior national champion in the double. Djukic has been the national record holder for Serbia in the 2000 meters on the erg in three different categories (girls, junior B, junior A).
She participated in track for four years in high school in Serbia & Montenegro.
