No. 2 California men's rowing will co-host the California Classic with No. 9 Stanford this weekend in Redwood Shores. The two-day event will feature a series of dual races among top competition from around the country, including No. 15 Wisconsin, No. 19 Temple, No. 21 Oregon State, No. 24 UC San Diego and No. 25 Santa Clara.
 
Races will begin at 9 a.m. PT on both Saturday and Sunday morning and will be streamed live on Overnght. Live results can be accessed here.
 
The Golden Bears' first through sixth varsity eights will take to the waters this weekend on their home course. Cal will face off with boats from Wisconsin, Temple, Santa Clara, UCSD and Oregon State.
 
The Bears are coming off a solid outing at the San Diego Crew Classic last weekend in which the fourth varsity eight won both Men's Collegiate Varsity 8+ Cal Cup and the Men's Open 8+ Anderson Borthwick Memorial Trophy events. This weekend will be the first time in nearly a month that all of Cal's boats will be out on the water for a competition, after the Bears swept their races at the Redwood Shores Invitational on March 7-8. Cal tallied a combined 11 head-to-head wins over Oregon State, Santa Clara and UCSD at the early-season competition.
