GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior Mya Lauzon of the No. 6 California women's gymnastics team took home a share of three titles in the program's first ACC Championship Saturday night in Greensboro, North Carolina. Following the meet Lauzon was named ACC Gymnast of the Year, while Elisbeth Crandall-Howell and Justin Howell earned the Co-Head Coaches of the Year award.

The Golden Bears (197.650) finished second in the meet tying their highest finish in conference championship in program history. Stanford (197.775) finished first, North Carolina (197.225) took third and NC State (196.500) placed fourth.

Lauzon earned a share of the all-around (39.625), balance beam (9.90), and floor exercise (9.95) titles. She is the first Bear in program history to win multiple conference titles in a single meet and the first to take home conference Gymnast of the Year honors. Senior Maddie Williams joined her as co-champion on the floor exercise giving Cal multiple conference winners for the first time as well.

Crandall-Howell's third and Howell's fifth career Coach of the Year awards come after leading the Bears to their fourth straight regular season conference title. It was Cal's second straight year with a perfect conference record and second straight outright title.

The Bears put up a season-high 49.625 on the uneven bars thanks to four 9.95 routines by Lauzon, Williams, junior eMjae Frazier, and sophomore Annalise Newman-Achee. They all split a share of the bronze medal in the event.

Six Bears were named to the All-Championship team, which consists of the top six competitors on each event, plus the top two all-arounders. Lauzon (UB, BB, FX, AA), Frazier (UB, BB), Williams (UB), Newman-Achee (UB), junior Casey Brown (V), and sophomore Kyen Mayhew (FX) all earned the honor.

Cal will now await Monday's selection show to find out where it will be heading for its NCAA Regional, which will take place on either April 4 or April 5.
