Junior guard Lulu Twidale of the California women's basketball team has been named to this year's Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Watchlist, it was announced by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Tuesday morning. The Ann Meyers Drysdale Award, in its ninth year, honors the top shooting guard in women's NCAA Division I college basketball. It is named after the class of 1993 Hall of Famer, the first player, regardless of gender, to be chosen for an All-America team in four consecutive college seasons.

The watchlist was made up of 20 nominees from across the country and the selection committee is composed of top women's college basketball personnel, including media members, head coaches, sports information directors and Hall of Famers. The Drysdale Award is voted on and presented annually by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).

The list will narrow down to 10 players in late January, with the final five being announced in March. The award winner and presentation details will be revealed at the Final Four in Indianapolis.

Fans can also vote for their favorite players here and the player who receives the most votes will earn an additional vote towards their count.

Twidale made a significant leap in her sophomore season in 2024-25 leading the ACC in 3-point field goal percentage (38.2) and ranking second in 3-pointers made (94). Her 94 triples rank second on Cal's all-time single season list and was the second highest total among all sophomores in the country last year and 13th overall. In 2024-25 Twidale was second on the team in scoring at 13.2 points per game and posted five 20-point games.
