DAVIS - Two members of the California men's tennis team have completed play at the Aggie Invitational in Davis.

Freshman Winston Lee continued his promising start to his Golden Bear career, making the semifinals in the singles main draw. Lee defeated opponents from Gonzaga and Pacific before losing in straight sets to top-seeded Lucas Bollinger of UC Davis. 

Lee also participated in the doubles main draw alongside junior Alex Aney. The duo took down a team from Nevada in the round of 16 but fell short in the quarterfinals. In their second tournament as doubles partners, they finished with a 2-2 record.

Aney also played in the singles main draw but fell short in the first round.

The Golden Bears will be back in action at the ITA Northwest Regionals, which will be held in Stockton on Oct. 16-21.
