BERKELEY – Senior Leah Polonsky was a double-winner in the final home dual meet of her career, helping the No. 10 California women's swimming & diving team defeat No. 24 UCLA 187-106 on Senior Day at Spieker Aquatics Complex.

Polonsky won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 48.73 and took the 200 butterfly with a mark of 1:55.13.

Graduate transfer Maya Geringer also captured two events, winning the 500 freestyle (4:46.41) and 1000 free (9:38.58). In her short time at Cal, Geringer has already clocked the second-fastest time in program history in the 1000 free – going 9:35.98 during Friday's dual meet victory over No. 18 USC.

Freshman Finley Anderson registered the first dual meet win over her career, taking the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:55.24.

Before the meet, Cal honored its 17 seniors and graduate students in a special ceremony. Together, the group has earned 40 All-America accolades, 19 individual and relay conference championships and 20 conference all-academic honors.

The Bears will close out the regular season with a dual meet at No. 3 Stanford on Jan. 31.
