No. 8 Bears Complete First Day Of Tri-Meet
Cal Leads No. 18 ASU, Trails No. 4 Stanford At Halfway Mark

Isabelle Stadden was a double-winner and the No. 8 California women's swimming & diving team notched an impressive victory in the 200-yard medley relay during the first day of a tri-meet against No. 4 Stanford and No. 18 Arizona State on Thursday evening at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.
Stadden won the 100 backstroke with the seventh-fastest time in the nation this season (51.33) and also led off the Golden Bears' victory in the 200 medley relay.

Mary-Ambre Moluh (freestyle) combined for a winning time of 1:35,28 – the fourth-fastest mark in the country this season.
Moluh, a 2024 Summer Olympian for France, also had a strong swim in the 100 freestyle. She finished second behind Stanford Olympian Torri Huske but her time of 47.89 is ranked No. 4 nationally this season.
Cal's divers made their season debut Thursday and a pair of freshmen registered second-place finishes.
Rebecca Ciancaglini was the runner-up in the 1-meter dive with 271.60 points while
Violet Williamson was second in the 3-meter event with a score of 270.65.
After the first day of competition, the Bears lead Arizona State 144-61 and trail Stanford 126-78.
The second and final day of the meet begins Friday at 10 a.m. PT.
