Cal-USC Match Cancelled Due To Rain
BERKELEY - The Pac-12 dual match between No. 1 California and No. 43 USC rescheduled for Sunday at the Hellman Tennis Complex was cancelled due to rain.
The match with the Trojans originally began on Saturday. But the two teams completed just a few games in doubles before rain forced the suspension of play.
Neither the USC match nor Friday's conference match with UCLA will be rescheduled - unless they're needed to determine the Pac-12 champion. In the latter case, one or both matches would be played prior to the start of the Pac-12 Championship tournament in Ojai, California, later this spring.
The Golden Bears (12-0, 2-0 in the Pac-12) return to the courts when they host No. 17 Pepperdine on Saturday, March 19, at 12 p.m. at Hellman.
